Founded in 1972 it is known for producing some of the best Martial -Arts practitioners this country (T&T) has to offer. They have done well and conquered in forums locally, regionally and internationally. Known as fierce competitors by the fraternity of martial-artist. Their approach to fighting and self-defence embodies that of the Tiger. They have also produced successful female competitors, one being Gwendoline "Asma" Hendrickson she has been stellar in her approach to karate and being a Mother. A mother of two who shows support to her family her profession, and her discipline. We sat down with her and asked her 10 questions about her life.
Tiger System Karate is an indigenous form of martial art founded by Master Junior B. Wharton in the 1970's in Trinidad and Tobago.
