The sun.
A giant star floating in the sky
You can count on it rising every morning and setting every night
If one day, it didn’t rise
No one would know what to do
It would be as if the world stopped turning
Because we may not know it, but we rely on the sun rising
We look forward to the days full of sunshine
We all rely on one big ball of gas in the sky
The sun.
Sunshine
by Jackson Bouchard
The sun shines bright
But it feels like night.
The night feels endless
But we can get through this.
The sun shines bright
But we need to get this right.
Once the stars align,
The sun will shine,
Brighter than before.
But it will be a chore
Before the sunshine will come again.
