A Simple Tip to Help Birds in the Winter
It ' s especially difficult for birds to find food and water in cold weather. Edible things are scarce and water often freezes. Here ' s an easy trick that can help save birds during freezing temperatures. Place a simple tennis ball in a bowl of water. The ball helps keep part of the surface unfrozen as it floats and moves slightly with wind or vibrations. That prevents ice from fully forming and breaks the freezing process. That gives birds access to liquid water for longer periods of time, which could be a lifesaver!
