Here ' s a unique and useful wedding favor for your special guests... a Mini Herb Garden in a Jar! Get small glass jars( about 2- 3 inches high), some potting soil, and herb seeds( or tiny potted herbs)- basil, rosemary, mint, and thyme work great! Prep the container- fill the jars about 2 / 3 full with potting soil, plant herbs or sprinkle 2- 4 seeds on top. Cover with a thin layer of soil and water lightly. Write " Let Love Grow " on a kraft paper or cardstock tag and tie it around the jar with twine or ribbon. Very sweet, and guests can grow something long after the wedding!
