efforts with the Men’ s Club, increasing the amount available to the fund. This year we also received donations from the Charbonneau Community Foundation and the Pro Shop, which increased the total to over $ 6,000. Congratulations to the award winners!
At 11 a. m. on March 5,, the Charbonneau Men’ s Club will sponsor“ A Conversation with Kerry Eggers.” It will be held in the Clubhouse Dining Room. Mr. Eggers was an award-winning sportswriter, an Oregon State University alumnus and he currently lives in our Charbonneau neighborhood. He will speak to us about his years as a sportswriter and will be available to sign his latest book,“ Scrolls of a Sports Scribe.” Be prepared to be enthralled with his interesting stories about famous athletes and sports figures, many with Northwest connections. There will be cookies and lemonade available. Although there is no
