The State of New Hampshire , Department of Environmental Services , Water Division , Dam Bureau has a full time vacancy for a Civil Engineer V - Senior Project Engineer .
This is a grant-funded position and is subject to renew every 2 years .
Summary :
Plans , evaluates and performs professional engineering functions in the reconstruction , repair , operation and maintenance of State-owned dams ensuring the safety of lives and the protection of property . Duties include conducting studies and design , preparingschedules and budgets , inspecting field work , and managing contractors and construction crews .
Responsibilities :
Develops and prepares engineering plans , specifications , cost estimates , and bidding documents for dams and related facilities on a state-wide basis for state-owned dams .
