This eight module designation program is Monday and Wednesday for four weeks beginning Monday , March 8 and will conclude on April 14 . Each module will be held from 4-7 pm at the AAMD Education Center , as well as virtually through our online learning platform .

EPA / CFC 608 Certification
If you work with refrigerant , buy it , check or charge A / C systems you must be certified .
This course is designed to provide associates with the knowledge necessary to pass the Federal EPA 608 exam . It has several sections which include Core , Type I , Type II , Type III , and a universal certification . Associates can pass any or all of the sections . If a passing score is achieved on all 4 sections , they will receive a Universal certification ( now including the R-410a refrigerant ). This certification is required by law for anyone that works on HVAC systems .

Certified Pool Operator ( CPO )
Keeping your pool , sauna or spa in top working condition ensures the longevity of your asset and the safety of your residents . By attending this course and becoming a Certified Pool Operator ® ( CPO ) the persons responsible for maintaining your pool , sauna or spa will have a better understanding of the laws and basic upkeep techniques of pool and spa operations . More than 200 Maintenance Professionals have been certified virtually since April 2020 .
The CPO certification course requires participation in the two-day certification program taught by a certified CPO instructor and will provide individuals with the basic knowledge , techniques , and skills of pool and spa operations and maintenance . The CPO certification program requires a passing score in the open-book written examination . The CPO certification is valid for five years .
Testing will be done through an online testing platform and is proctored virtually , you will require a webcam capable device in order to test .
