She was born in Lancaster on Aug. 23, 1945, the youngest daughter of Clifford and Eleanor( Morse) Colby.
Marcia attended area schools and made a career of painting and wallpapering. She served clients in the area for many years. She married her longtime partner, James Pond, of Lunenburg on Dec. 31, 1981. Jim died in 1988.
Marcia loved to hunt and fish, and spent many hunting seasons with Jim at their camp in Lunenburg. She also enjoyed a few camping trips with her nephew Brian and family. She had dry sense of humor, and a quick wit. She loved to dance the two-step, and for many years invited family members to a holiday gathering with merriment and music. She had a soft spot for her pets, and liked feeding the wild birds in her yard. She lived a quiet and simple life, and will be missed very much by her family and friends.
Loved ones include her longtime companion, Roland Ingerson; nieces and nephews Eleanor Frechette of Windsor, Vermont; Brian Parks and wife Terri of Dalton; Gary Pond of Haverhill, Mass.; George Silsby and wife Lynda of Lunenburg; and several great-nieces and nephews and cousins.
Marcia was predeceased by her parents, her husband Jim; brother Dana Colby; sisters Karlene Silsby and Marilyn Pond, and her niece Charlotte( Silsby) Cornell, all of Lunenburg.
At Marcia’ s request, there will be no calling hours or services. Private burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Lunenburg in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lancaster Ambulance Service, 19 Mechanic Street, Lancaster, NH, 03584.

JEANNINE D. BOIRE
WEST STEWARTSTOWN – Jeannine Rouleau Boire, 89, of Colebrook, passed away on Friday evening, Jan. 27, 2017, at the Coos County Nursing Hospital in West Stewartstown where she had been a resident for the past three years. She had been a resident of Colebrook for 54 years.
Jeannine Marie Denyse Desautels was born on March 9, 1927, in LaPatrie, Que., a daughter to Emile and Alice( Paquette) Desautels.
In her younger years, Jeannine had worked at the Stratford Plywood Mill, and she was later a cook at the Oblate Fathers’ Shrine in Columbia. She was a parishioner at St. Brendan’ s Catholic Church in Colebrook and a member of the Catholic Women’ s Club. She will be remembered as a loving wife and wonderful mother, and a friend to many who were all blessed to have her in their lives.
Jeannine leaves behind her children, Micheline Lambert and husband Bruno of Bedford, Peter Rouleau and wife Nancy of Columbia, Diane Walsh and husband Thomas of Manchester, Serge Rouleau and wife Diane of Port Orange, Fla., and Francoise Johnson and husband Scott of Newmarket; numerous grandchildren, Bridget, Jason, Roxanne, Kim, Robert, Todd, Whitney, Marcus, Aimee, Christopher, April, Scott, Jennifer, Emily, and step-grandchildren, Laura, Ellie and David; 16 greatgrandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews; and two brothers, Jean-Luc Desautels of Wallingford, Conn., and Marcel Desautels of Sherbrooke, Que. She also leaves behind her step-children, Jocelyn Boire and wife Iola of West Stewartstown, Germain Boire and wife Gaetane of Colebrook, Blandine Boire of Jefferson, Helen Phillips of Hampstead, Norman Boire and wife Alicia of Colebrook, and Rita Gilbert and husband Michael of Colebrook.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Rouleau, in 1995; her second husband, Herve Boire in 2004; three children, Jacques Rouleau as an infant, Judith Erbacher, and Denis Rouleau; and six siblings.
There are no public calling hours. A memorial Mass and graveside committal will be held at St. Brendan’ s Catholic Church later in the spring, of which notice will be given.

GUILDHALL, Vt.– Richard W. Rosser, 71, died at this home Tuesday morning, Jan. 24, 2017.
Richard was born in Llanelli, Wales, United Kingdom, the son of Wyndham and Gladys( Nicholas) Rosser.
He is survived by his wife Kathleen( Bryan) Rosser of Guildhall and a niece, Sally Lonergan, of Long Island.

PATRICIA I. DIONNE
ERROL – Patricia Ingrid Dionne, 76, of Errol, passed away quietly at the Venice Regional Hospital in Venice, Fla., on Fri., Jan. 27, 2017.
She was born in Waterbury, Conn., on April 27, 1940, to the late John and Ingrid Cronan. Pat was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and“ Nanny” to all who knew her.
Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. Family birthday parties were a very special event. The entire neighborhood could hear the Dionne rendition of the song“ Happy Birthday To You.” Playing cards and dominoes with " the girls " was her favorite pastime. She loved her flower gardens, reading her kindle or any book, doing ceramics, listening to music and shopping.
In her younger years Pat worked at Arlans Dept. Store, and was fondly known as“ Patty Popcorn.” She later worked at Scovill MFG in Waterbury. Relocating to Errol in 1973, Pat and her husband Richard bought and operated the Errol General Store for many years. She worked at the front desk at the Balsams Grand Resort until early retirement in 1991. Pat loved traveling the country with her husband, sightseeing, going to Las Vegas and especially being a snowbird in Arizona for 20 years, and most recently in Florida. She will be greatly missed by all who had the joy of knowing her.
Pat is survived by her husband of 56 years, Richard; her father-in-law, Nicholas Cristello; four children, Kathy and husband Russell, Lori and husband Paul, Joanne, and her“ favorite son,” Gregg; five grandchildren, Chris and wife Kate Marcum, Patty and husband Ed Christina, Jonathan, Sara and Danny; five great-grandchildren, Andrew, Cora Ingrid, Grafton, Cayden, Dylan and Aiden; brothers-in-
