BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING December 3, 2025 7 PM American Legion, Chaska, MN MINUTES
Board Members Present: Lynn-Ellen St. Martin, James Duenow, Paul Hansen, Julia Northwick, Julie Gintner, Karson Duncanson, Dustin Heck, Keith Sather
Members Absent: Lori Taylor, Darcy Berget, Courtney Betsch
Other members and visitors: Arlene Bayer( Treasurer / Osakis Trailblazers), Sara Schwartz( Parliamentarian / Wissota ApHC), Mandy Gustafson( Wright Saddle Club), Steven Tibbetts( Foundation / Hollywood Riders), Marlys Mooney( Drills & Squares / Buffalo Saddle Club), Kristi Van Camp( WSCA Queen / Ms. Congeniality / Bit & Bridle Saddle Club), Hilary Vetse( WSCA Princess / Storm Quarter Horses)
Meeting was called to order by Lynn-Ellen St. Martin at 7:00 PM Public Open Comment: None Secretary’ s Report: Liz Bauer
It was noted that date was incorrect on the October 25 th, 2025 Board Meeting minutes. It was also noted that correction needed to be made to the Vice President nominations section on the October 25 th, 2025 General meeting minutes, to reflect that a vote was taken between Vice President nominees Dustin Heck and Lori Taylor.
Motion made by James Duenow, seconded by Karson Duncanson to approve the December 3rd, 2025 Board Meeting Minutes, with the corrections noted above. Motion carried unanimously.
Treasurer’ s Report: Arlene Bayer
As of November 30, 2025 Checking $ 87,396.56 CD’ s-Minnco CU $ 71,702.08

Balance Sheet and Income Statement was presented, YTD Net Income( Loss) is($ 5,076.32). Arlene reported that the caterer for the 2025 Awards banquet did not include a gratuity in their final bill.
Motion made by James Duenow, seconded by Julia Northwick, to approve the November 30th, 2025 treasurer’ s report subject to audit and include a 15 % gratuity to the banquet caterer. Motion carried unanimously.
Correspondence: 4 2026 memberships have been received as of 12 / 3 / 2025. Memberships for 2026 are $ 90 for renewing clubs and $ 95 for new clubs. Clubs that did not have a membership in 2025( lapsed membership) will be considered a new club. Memberships are due by January 15th, 2026 to avoid a late fee. After January 15 th, memberships must be turned in no later than May 15 th, 2026.
Committee Reports: Awards Banquet: Julia Northwick
The 2025 Awards banquet went well; we received good feedback. The committee believes we will need a bigger venue space for 2026 Awards Banquet.
