Project of the year: Launch of an ETF linked to ITS’s flagship stock index, ITS World, the first investment product of its kind in Central Asia.

Event of the year: The first edition of the ITS IDEAS conference, held in September as part of the major international event Astana Finance Days, was a significant milestone. It brought together industry leaders from Kazakhstan, China, the US, Europe and the MENA region, along with renowned investor Jim Rogers, to discuss investment opportunities and market trends.

Change of the year: The game-changer was the transition to ITS’s proprietary trading and clearing infrastructure within the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC). ITS’s own infrastructure enables full-cycle post-trading operations, enhances market efficiency and provides investors with seamless access to global liquidity.

Accomplishment of the year: Expanding market access for investors through new brokerage partnerships was the pivotal moment in 2024. Kazakhstan-based investment platform Paidax enabled its clients

to trade on ITS, followed by the Armenian broker Invia Investments.

Word of the year: ETF

Person of the year: Alexander Diakovsky, Managing Director of ITS.

Member of the year: Ayana Kassymkhan, CEO of ITS Central Securities Depository Limited.

ITS joins the FEAS

The main aim of the Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchanges aligns with the mission and objectives that ITS sets for itself. We are also committed to the development, cooperation and promotion of the financial markets in Central Asian countries and the wider Eurasian region.Besides acknowledging ITS's role in the development of the regional stock market, FEAS membership lays a foundation for knowledge exchange, research and publications.
