TSETMC provides Information and Communication Services to Iran’s Capital Market Parties. Year 2023 was a good chance to expand IT aspects of the capital market. In the past year we were able to focus on needed improvements of the working systems. Also, in some fields new projects were designed and implemented. To mention projects carried out in year 2023, we can name the most popular as below:
In Year 2023, in Derivatives Contracts such as Option and Future Contracts, developments were made and some important features were applied. Now we have implemented “covered call” and “spread” Strategies based on Option contracts in order to cover risk management of brokers. Also Automated recognition and creation Module in Option Contracts is Developed.
In TCS (agreed market) developments based on local Regulation were made and this module is now under load.
In Trading System Engine, developments were undertaken to Centralize the order filtering through control module, such as Professional investor Module. With the aim of increasing the level of High availability, Transparency and Security, new technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes and dapper are utilized.
By the release of our new inhouse post trade system which is developed locally, at the time we are utilizing one Trading system and two Post Trading systems. As a result, we had to implement a Middle Module in order to stablish real time communication between these systems which is now under load.
Portfolio Management Compliance System was implemented. The Alert Management System for Market Supervision was deployed. The New Generation of Business Intelligence for Supervision and Compliance was delivered to the BI users. Social Media Monitoring System for Detection of Information Based Market Manipulations was a new project based on new needs of capital market in Supervision which was initiated in 2023 and is going on.
According to the legal and regulatory responsibilities, TSETMC has taken various measures to protect the company against cyber threats. Security assessment and hardening have been integrated into the process of infrastructure and software development.
The key activity of the company to deal with cyber threats has been to build a Security Operations Center (SOC) to perform continuous monitoring of the company's network and investigate any potential security incidents.
