In 2023, the Securities and Exchange Brokers Association (SEBA) experienced a leadership shift. The role of Secretary-General was assumed by Dr. Azim Sabet. Our annual general meeting for 2023 will held on Wednesday 10 July 2024

For the upcoming year, SEBA has outlined several key objectives:

- Enhancing supervisory role: SEBA aims to strengthen its supervisory role over its members. This involves ensuring compliance, monitoring activities, and promoting transparency within the organization.

- Capital market employment website: SEBA intends to create a robust website designed specifically for the stock market. The platform helps job seekers find relevant opportunities in the financial industry and Strengthening the Relationship between Industry and Universities.

- Members' affairs web application: SEBA aims to create a comprehensive Members' affairs System. This system will efficiently organize and manage information related to its members, events, and activities.

- Creating social channels to make members more familiar with capital market legal issues.

- To enhance the effectiveness of services in the brokerage industry, SEBA held over 160 meetings involving working groups and committees in 2023. These discussions led to the resolution of contentious matters within the industry.

- In addition to the other tasks, SEBA also investigated approximately 55 cases related to issues between brokerages and their employees Ensuring fair and harmonious relations between employers and employees is crucial for a healthy industry environment.

- As SEBA, we prepare monthly statistical reports on brokerage transactions for companies based on their trading volumes in various stock markets. We then provide these reports to brokerage firms. These reports provide valuable insights into the industry’s performance and trends. It’s essential for informed decision-making and strategic planning.

- SEBA also updates its employment Telegram channel daily. This channel provides information about new job opportunities within the industry.

- Besides we pursued 944 complaints that are registered in the Customer complaint registration system for brokerage firms.

We believe that Broker industry is a core to stability of financial markets.
