the EBRD with which we signed MoU. In summary, behind us is a calmer, yet overall solid year for the Macedonian Stock Exchange, and we can state with confidence that the core objectives for 2025 were largely achieved.
Of course, we are operating in a new geopolitical and economic reality. The global environment is changing rapidly, and what seemed relevant just two or three years ago is now often fundamentally different. In such conditions of accelerated change and uncertainty, investors have responded surprisingly calm and still optimistic. Potential negative developments are often quickly transformed into positive expectations, demonstrating resilience and adaptability.
Project of the year: “From pocket money to a portfolio” – a project consisted of a series of financial education events aimed at young people who had the opportunity to connect with proven experts from the industry and learn how to build healthy saving and spending habits, the benefits of long-term investing, how the capital market works, how experts choose which financial instruments to invest in and how to trade them.
Event of the year: The 24th Annual Conference of the Macedonian Stock Exchange.
Change of the year: Continuing transformation of MSE’s role from a predominantly secondary-market operator into a more active institutional stakeholder in the development of the primary market and the capital market ecosystem.
Accomplishment of the year: Involvement in Junctus project.
Word of the year: Integration and regional cooperation
Person of the year: All the employees of the Macedonian Stock Exchange, for their expertise, commitment and hard work.
