6 Beef hot dogs 2oz

Candied jalapenos 6 Hot dog buns 1 / 2lb Pimento cheese,( fresh from the deli)

2oz

Shredded cabbage

Toasted Pimento Cheese Dog

DIRECTIONS

Step 1

Set oven to broil( or hottest setting). Line a sheet pan with foil.

Step 2

Slice open hot dog buns and spread evenly with about 2 tablespoons pimento cheese spread on each half.

Step 3

While waiting for oven to heat, place hot dogs in a sauce pan and add just enough water to cover. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Set aside. Can also use microwave instructions if you prefer.

Step 4

Broil hot dog buns until cheese is melted and buns are toasted around the edges, about 2 minutes.

Step 5

Remove from oven. Place 1 hot dog in each bun and top with shredded cabbage and candied jalapenos.
