COMMITTEES
FCCSA operates with the support of various committees, each dedicated to specific areas of the association’ s mission. Board Members serve not only in their governance roles but also as liaisons to these committees. As liaisons, Board Members are expected to attend committee meetings periodically, helping to ensure alignment between committee activities and the broader goals of the association.
CONSIDERING RUNNING FOR THE BOARD?
If you’ re thinking about running for a Board seat, please understand that this is a significant responsibility that requires a meaningful commitment of your time. The effectiveness of the Board depends on active, engaged participation. When a Board Member is unable to fully participate, it impacts the entire association.
With that in mind, we want to acknowledge that the three incumbent Board Members seeking re-election this year have all been consistent and active participants in all forms of meetings – regular Board Meetings, Executive Sessions, Workshops, and committee involvement. Serving on the Board is a rewarding way to contribute to the community, but it’ s important to be prepared for the level of commitment it entails. All submissions are due no later than 5:00 PM on Friday, September 19th 2025.
Again, we are pleased with the progress we are making and will have more to report at our Annual Meeting in December.

Volunteers Needed to Serve on FCCSA Committees in 2026
Did you know that FCCSA has various committees that members can participate in throughout the year? New volunteers are appointed to committees every year in January at the first board meeting of the year.
