Digital Pool Passes CellBadge
These “ Digital Passes ” are for the family pools open during the summer . It does not change access to the Swim at your Own Risk Pools .
CellBadge allows FCCSA to control access to lifeguarded pool facilities and boathouse staff using a real-time database and online registration . CellBadge is an online service that allows lifeguards and boathouse staff to know who has valid access to pools and kayaks . Lifeguards and boathouse staff identify patrons by homeowner Last Name and Street Address . CellBadge lists all family members associated with the home and lets lifeguards and staff know if they have a Valid , Invalid , Registered or Unregistered access status . If you already registered , you do not need to register again .
How do I register ?
1 . Add your FCCSA pool pass online at https :// firstcolony . cellbadge . com / Register
2 . Go to the “ Not Approved Yet ? You need to register ” section . Fill out the initial Add Request form .
3 . Once your registration is verified , then you will receive an email message to complete your registration . Your registration will remain pending until you complete the next step .
4 . Follow the link in the email and fill out the “ Registered Previously or Approved ” section . Enter in your email address and mobile number and hit the “ Request PIN ” button .
5 . The PIN number will be sent via text to your mobile number and your email address . Enter the PIN number at the prompt .
6 . Once you are into your account , complete your name and information . Add every member of your household that is living at the FCCSA address . Do not add anyone not living at the home ; they can come to the pool as a guest . Maximum of 8 people allowed in per household .
Allow until the next business day for your verification email if you register after hours or over the weekend . Bring a picture id with you ( driver ’ s license ) as proof of residency .
Pickleball Lessons
Pickleball is a paddle sport that combines elements of tennis , badminton , and ping-pong using a paddle and plastic ball with holes . It is a game that is appropriate for players of all ages and skill levels . Rules for pickleball are simple , making it a great introductory sport . It can also be quite a challenging , fast-paced , and competitive game when people become more experienced at playing .
Because pickleball rules are like ping-pong , it can be easy for practically anyone to learn how to play . Whether you ’ re a beginner who just wants to learn a new sport for fun , or you ’ re a seasoned player who craves the thrill of more competitive play , pickleball offers something for everyone .
If you are looking for some great exercise for your mind and body , pickleball can ’ t be beat . Playing pickleball allows you to work on your balance , agility , reflexes , and hand-eye coordination without putting excessive strains on your body . Pickleball is a wonderful alternative for older players who used to play tennis , but have physical limitations such as hip , shoulder , knee , or other joint problems .
Sharon Meyer , our FCCSA Pickleball Coach , teaches lessons at the FCCSA Pickleball courts located at 1314 Sheffield Dr , Missouri City . The lessons offered are for players from beginner to intermediate level . There are lessons for ages 8 and up .
Most classes are taught as small group lessons of 4 players , but she also offers private and semi-private lessons . The Intro to Pickleball lesson is 90 minutes and everything is supplied for you . She has Diadem , Joola , and Engage paddles for use during classes .

Kayak Fun on Brooks Lake
Come have fun on Brooks Lake by checking-out a kayak at the Oyster Creek Boathouse located at 15910 Creekbend Drive , Sugar Land . The boathouse is open Saturdays and Sundays from April 13 through October 27 .
Hours of Operation :
• Saturdays & Sundays | 8am – 12pm & 4pm – 7pm
• Memorial Day , July 4 , and Labor Day | 8am – 12pm & 4pm – 7pm
You must be 21 years of age or older to check-out a kayak ; rowers under 21 must be accompanied by an adult . There is no cost to check-out a kayak for FCCSA members . Must have a valid digital pool pass .

At kayak check-out you will be required to leave a driver ’ s license and sign a liability form . Non-residents may rent a kayak by buying a pass at the FCCSA office . A daily one-use pass is $ 10.00 per person with a season pass cost of $ 50.00 per person . Reservations are not accepted as kayaks are checked-out on a first come , first serve basis . Don ’ t forget to bring along sun block and drinking water ! There are no pets allowed in the kayaks . Life preservers are provided and must be worn by all participants .
