Michelin has announced its most technologically advanced sport-touring tire ever , the Road 5 . The Road 5 replaces the Pilot Road 4 , with Michelin claiming it outperforms the Pilot Road 4 in wet conditions even after 3,000 miles . The Road 5 uses XST Evo sipes that get wider as the tire wears , and an ACT + casing evolved from the Power RS sport tires ensures excellent performance and handling .
