A lot of the more professional clothing worn by working woman in the 70s
includes lines of suits created by Karl Lagerfield. Another working or casual
outfit that was designed during this time was the tomato red linen jacket worn
the white silk crepe blouse and soft leather elastic-wasted pants with seams in
the knees. Woman could now also wear blazers with pants and sweaters or
choose from a professional-looking jacket and skirt sets. For the evening, many
different women wore simple classic timeless dresses such as a long flowing red
evening dress.
Even though most of the styles in the 1970s are the most embarrassing of all
many designers now a days are drawing on looks from those times. Such as the
flared pants are still very popular, but things like: fringe, tunics, and certain
patters are happily buried away.
