As a brand Fashion Wanderer believes that being sustainable in the fashion industry is one of the most important factors if we are to thrive and to keep on thriving in the future. Many brands such as Stella McCartney, Marlow London and even ASOS, are now realising the importance of becoming sustainable and how it is imperative to protect the World that we live on whether that be by minimising the amount of natural resources used, making all working conditions fair and ethical or reducing the number of garments produced.
Fashion Wanderer want to become a sustainable company by reducing the amount of resources that we use. For instance, our magazine will not be a monthly magazine as we feel this is unnecessary. Being a tri-monthly magazine allows us to use less resources and it also makes people want to read it and buy it as they will have three months' worth of the fashion industry to read about. We believe limiting the amount of resources used is extremely important as our World only has a certain amount for everyone to live from. As well as this, limiting our resources should limit our waste. Using less resources means that less rubbish is shipped to landfill.
Fashion Wanderer also have a policy to treat all employees fairly when it comes to human rights and working conditions. From the boardroom to the factories, we will ensure that each employee is being paid a specific and correct amount that they can live on and that their working conditions are treated with the up most respect. We believe working in a positive environment creates positive people and a positive company. Here at Fashion Wanderer, we want people to thrive and be the best version of their selves.
Fashion Wanderer also want to promote the importance of sustainability and how it is vital within the fashion industry. We want to teach people how to be sustainable, how brands are becoming sustainable and how they can too. This is mostly encouraged through our website and through our subscription service where we send out promotions and information with each magazine that is printed and posted.
