Marlow London is an up and coming brand that has been recognised by Young British Designers. Chloe Marlow is a First-class honour graduate from Central Saint Martins and started her business last year in 2016. Selling bags and scarves, Marlow London is a sustainable brand using vegetable dye and recycled leather.

Marlow London is taking sustainability to the core of the brand. When studying Fashion Print at Central Saint Martins, Chloe realised that being sustainable was a factor that had started to appear within fashion from the likes of Stella McCartney and high street brands like Nike, however it was not spoken about enough. Chloe wanted to create a brand that mixed fashion people would love with a sustainable element as she realised that this needed to be spoken about more. As fashion is becoming more popular, the wastage of clothes every year is also increasing, this means materials are being unnecessarily used, animals unnecessarily killed and money is being unnecessarily wasted. Marlow London is trying to change this.

Each bag or purse by Marlow London is leather meaning it is durable and will last, however animals are not killed for it. Marlow London uses recycled leather, this means that the Cow would have been killed for something else first such as food. The leather left over from the cow is then used by Marlow London. This reduces the number of animals killed and means that Marlow London is not killing the cow
