If we were to do this project again, I think I would firstly start by advertising a lot earlier about the date of the Pop-Up. I'd contact influencers and get them tO post about the Pop-Up on social media and advertise in local and surrounding areas with leaflets and flyers. I would also try and bring in some more donations as I didn't bring in any items then when I went through my wardrobe at the weekend I realised there was probably quite a bit I could of donated.
We can all make an environmental change by trying to be more sustainable with our clothing, whether that be by donating unwanted clothes to charity, being more conscience of buying habits or buying from ethical and sustainable sources. For example, I will now look at the brands I buy from and where there clothes are made to check they are being made in an ethical and sustainable way, for the garment workers sake. If we all make small changes, together we can make a more sustainable fashion industry.
