Irish women in the 1900s wore peasant dresses, with Celtic designs on them. Green was the most popular color, but they were worn in blue, red, brown, etc. as well.

Irish fashion has come a long way since the early 1900s. While Irish dance costumes are still popular today (and come in a variety of colors), Irish street fashion is extremely similar to that of the United States.
