Lipstick and blush aren’t amongst the makeup products that men use in Korea, if that’s what you’re thinking. The most common products used by men are concealer, foundation, mascara, eye shadow and brow pencils. BB cream is perhaps one of the most popular product for men.
Using make-up to cover spots, tired eyes, scars and other undesirable aesthetic features has become relevant to boosting fortunes, social live, due to the fact that your physical appearance in Korea is sometimes more important than your education and personality. Handsome, and flawless men saturate the media in South Korea, and the image of a beautiful man is unavoidable. Make up for men is constantly endorsed across the country. That makes it the largest market for men's skincare in the world, even though there are only about 19 million men in South Korea. South Korean men are barraged daily with messages in popular media suggesting that flawless skin is a crucial part of any plan to get ahead at work and romance.
Eyebrow pencils are many of the men in South Korea favorite choice of makeup. This is due to the fact men with bolder, thicker eyebrows are seen as much more attractive to women. Therefore, if a man does not have naturally thick eyebrows, it is extremely easy for him to use a black eyebrow pencil to become much more attractive to women in less than three minutes.
When going to a job interview, Korean men tend to wear concealer underneath their eyes and mascara on their eyelashes in order to make their eyes look much more vibrant. They also use eye shadow to bring a sparkle to their eyes, they feel as if their eyes is an important part of their appearance..
