Brooklyn store owner Renata sits down with FASHION SETTER to explain how Ukrainian fashion impacts American style!

Renata: More is less! Each time I order clothing from Ukraine, I notice how none of the jeans have rips and none of the shirts have large lettering on the front. A woman’s attitude in clothing speaks louder than the clothing itself. Dressing in an understated manner not only makes you look classy, it places attention to your personality.

Renata: Since clothes are more expensive in Ukraine than they are in America, Ukrainians purchase only a few great items at a time to mix and match outfits. I have customers coming into the store raving about how long the blouses have lasted them because of the quality in the clothing. Many Americans buy a lot of clothing just to have a lot of stuff, in my culture he don’t want a lot. We rather have the best clothing, than the most clothing.
