Q: Do you try to convey messages in your songs? And if so, what are they?

A: Absolutely. My first single ‘’Bully’’ was about standing up for yourself and not giving people who try to bring you down. It explains abot people who don’t get any love and are just unhappy with themselves. I believe if we all understood that , we wouldn’t let their words bother us.

Q: When did you decide you wanted music to be your career?

A: I started working towards it when I was 15 or 16. One of the videos got viral overnight and I guess you can say I became popular in my region. Television appearances followed and it became exciting at 17 years of age. Few months afterwards I received a scholarship to a MN college. I decided to bring my craft over here, which became my ultimate goal ever since. You can’t reach the world unless you reach America first.

Q: What are your dreams?

A: The day the arena I am singing in is sold out and everybody is singing along to my song, I will be at peace with myself. I want to touch people with my craft and make them feel the way music makes me feel. Alive.

Q: Your style is crazy are you very fashion forward outside of the music world ?

A: Living in MN has affected my daily style. When it drops below 0, I don’t care about anything anymore. I wear plenty of black in winter and I give up on heels because it’s dangerous. However, I have learned to layer and add a pop of color to bring some life to the outfit. If you see me in oversized snow pants in January, don’t be surprised.

Q: How did you discover your singing talent?

A: My dad ended up buying a car without a radio. Guess who ended up being the radio? My dad loved it and my mom wanted to jump out of the car after the third song.
