8) Budget yourself
Unfortunately the fashion industry is one of the few industries where
you often don’t know when your next pay check will be. Where there is
uncertainty with money, financial anxiety is far more likely. It is very
important to keep a small amount of savings, and yes that means not
blowing all your pay check on take out! Sure you can treat yourself (you
work hard and deserve it) but try putting at least 10% away in a separate
savings account for those dreaded dry periods of work.
