This unit has opened up my eyes quite a lot, I have realized how much I do buy things that I do not wear, and realised that I am a massive clothes hoarder and need to come to terms with the fact that I do not have to buy an outfit every time I want to go out and can in fact re - wear things, I have also started browsing and looking in my local charity shops trying to spot some hidden gems In fact, I also did buy some items from our pop up, a puma crop top for £6, and a pair of American apparel riding pants for £7, when buying them brand new would probably come to over £30±

If we was to do this task again, I would try and help lead the team, in my PR team I was not the team leader, however when it came to the day I ended up helping a lot more on the VM team as there seemed to be no structure from the PR leaders, we did in fact do our tasks that were asked from us, and then we were kind of stumped as to what to do, so I instead helped VM who on the day two members of their team were ill, I enjoyed the VM a lot more, which I never thought I would, and I enjoyed trying to get what our vision that we had into the actual store and essentially turning nothing into something. I would also try and make sure there is structure within our team, we were aiming to have a timetable and a rota for everyone to follow, but we found that the same 5 was in the store from 11-3 behind tills and constantly in there where as some others were not so involved, however the majority did help set up, and close.

I think personally I can make a real change just by keep re wearing my clothes, as a fashion student that also works full time, the only think at the moment I like to buy is clothes, which I have put a huge halt on as I realised that I don’t need so many clothes that my wardrobe isn’t shutting and my draws are too crammed, I’ve realised that simplicity is key and I would like to think that just by restricted my spending that it will help even a little, I have also started up a depop account which is a site where you can buy and sell second hand clothes, a little nicer than a charity shop as it also has handmade dealers on there too, so I am also making money from my old unwanted clothes and giving them to someone who will show them more love.
