Moschino have recently launched their Spring/ Summer ‘Capsule’ collection which is inspired by prescription drugs and features drug bottle bags and IPhone cases in the shape of pill bottles. The collection has sparked outrage amongst doctors and overdose victims who say that Moschino’s ‘willingness to profit off this epidemic that’s killing thousands astounds me’. Another reads ‘Shame on these company CEO’s and buyers’. Moschino responded by saying their intent was ever to offended or promote drug abuse and that there had been a clear misunderstanding.
Zayn Malik has been announced as the new creative director at Versus Versace. The singer recently appeared front row at the Versus, Versace show alongside Supermodel girlfriend GIGI Hadid. It was later announced that Zayn Malik, ex one direction singer, would be assuming the role of creative director for a new collection ‘Zayn X Versus’. Zayn revealed his love for fashion which sparked the collection to be created featuring both men and woman’s clothing it is set to be released next May and is most likely to receive huge popularity from Zayn fans around the world.
ASOS Is a booming retail online store at the moment and its next collection is sure to spark even more interest. Asos has teamed up with Wah Nails to launch a “Lady Di” collection inspired by princess Diana’s outfits in the 80’s. The line features 20 pieces from pearl chokers to pinstripe suits which pay homage to the late Princess but are also very on trend for Autumn/Winter this year.
High street bridal wear is something fairly new to the scene but has proved popular with more people opting for a cheaper dress. Next to take the plunge into bridal wear is high street store Whistles who have recently said to be launching their bridal collection from February 2017. Customers can shop the styles online and in the Flagship London store with prices ranging from £499-£699.
