There was also a Monday night movie . Lionsgate and WTA Media were instrumental in premiering Ordinary Angels at the show . The pre-screening at CPE was the first time the movie was shown to the public . We are thrilled to support their continued commitment to bring wholesome movies to the big screen .

At each show , we make it a priority to help stores learn best business practices to run more efficiently and profitably , because we know that at the heart of each of our businesses is ministry . We also know that if the business is not profitable , there is no ministry . We have found that often the best way to learn is from each other . So rather than having a speaker-led training at this show , we had a two-hour store-to-store seminar . There were stores there that have been in business for over 30 years as well as stores that haven ’ t even opened their doors yet . This time was a chance for new stores to gain knowledge and wisdom from veteran stores and for veteran stores to mentor these up-and-coming retailers .
During this time , stores completed a self-assessment and were challenged to have someone they know complete the assessment when they returned to the store . Going back to the basics and getting feedback from others with a fresh set of eyes can be invaluable information for even the most seasoned veteran . Sharing these findings is such a good way to learn from each other .
