Conveniently located just outside the bustling warehouse district on the corner of Arnold Street and 2nd Ave , across the street from the Festhalle Market Platz and the Cullman County Museum , Depot Park is a favorite spot for people to walk , play or simply relax . Walking trails wind throughout the open urban green spaces of the park and a fountain lies near its center , surrounded by numerous memorial benches and several picnic tables . It is also home to Christmas in Cullman and is where the Cullman Strawberry Festival and Oktoberfest are held each year . During the holidays , Depot Park is extensively decorated with lights and a large Christmas tree , creating a festive atmosphere appropriate for the season .
