The councilwoman, who represents District 7, said,“ My hope and my goal as a member of the L. A. City Council, as an Angeleno, is to make contracting opportunities more accessible to small, minority, and women-owned firms in the City of Los Angeles. I want to ensure you have a competitive chance to pursue contracting opportunities with the city.”

L. A. County Supervisor and L. A. Metro Board Member Kathryn Barger, who represents District 5, provided an enthusiastic welcome, emphasizing the exciting prospects that lie ahead for contractors in the program.
