For Dawid and Marina, construction is only one side of community building; the other is education that equips the next generation with the tools to choose a better life.“ Just as we build docks, schools, and community centers with INSSKI,” he explains,“ we’ re also planting seeds through YBA, so that young people can grow with confidence, self-respect, and the power to choose.”
By bridging public works and youth education, Dawid and Marina are creating a multi-dimensional legacy: one that builds both places and people-with strength, purpose, and a long-term vision to serve.
This same heart for service inspired Dawid to begin work on‘’ Harbor of Hope’’, a documentary currently in early production. The film aims to spotlight the often-unseen collaboration between public agencies, wildlife rescue teams, and local contractors working together to protect marine life like that in Marina del Rey.
The story follows real challenges faced by marine mammals, such as sea lions entangled in debris, and the coordinated response from the community to support their recovery. It also features INSSKI’ s involvement in the early planning and design of floating platforms intended to provide safe resting areas for these animals, in partnership with LA County.
“ Harbor of Hope is about showing how much we can accomplish when we come together with a shared purpose,” Dawid explains.“ It’ s a way to raise awareness and honor the people and agencies who dedicate themselves to preserving our environment.”
Together with the Youth Business Academy, the documentary reflects a larger mission: to serve the community not only through construction, but through compassion, education, and environmental stewardship.
Looking Ahead
Most recently, Dawid is excited to have been awarded a $ 90K headquarters office remodel for the Internal Services Department of Los Angeles County. He and Marina are also expecting a son.“ We are filled with gratitude for all those who have helped make possible our continued success, for the many opportunities to contribute within our community, and for the blessings that manifest daily in our lives,” reflects Dawid.
