The walk continues over the Connecticut River to the northern locks of the canal to the Bridge Lane / Bridge Street Remnants . The tour returns across the river , north on Pearl Street , then turns on New King Street back to the Alcorn School . ( Tour starts at former Alcorn School - 1010 Enfield Street )

Business and industry grew rapidly around its main industry . This walking tour begins at the water fountain in front of Town Hall and wraps around Freshwater Pond and the Bigelow Commons . The tour continues past the Connecticut River front , Cottage Green , and Pearl Street . The tour will stop for an authentic Mexican lunch at Serapes Restaurant located at 95 High Street and return to the Enfield Town Green . ( Tour starts at the Enfield Town Green - 820 Enfield St .)
