The Falcons also received major production from junior Mark Francin, one of the team’s most dangerous perimeter shooters. Francin knocked down 58 three-pointers and totaled 255 points, helping stretch opposing defenses throughout the season.

In the frontcourt, senior Nick Vitiello provided a strong inside presence. Vitiello recorded 109 points and 108 rebounds, while also contributing 30 assists, 23 blocks, and 21 steals, making him one of the team’s most versatile players.

Additional contributions came from across the roster. Junior Colin Taylor added 48 points and 83 rebounds while also dishing out 29 assists, while freshman Jayden Vitiello made an immediate impact with 105 points in 17 games. Senior Angelo Benanti contributed 18 points and 17 rebounds, and seniors Daniel DiBella and others added valuable minutes and leadership throughout the year.

As a team, the Falcons scored 1,404 total points, connecting on 396 two-point baskets and 114 three-pointers, while also collecting 568 rebounds, 172 assists, 55 blocks, and 132 steals across the season. The balanced contributions from players at every grade level helped the Falcons remain competitive throughout its schedule.

earning a berth in the NJSIAA North Jersey

Section 1 Group 1 state tournament, where

Saddle Brook battled Waldwick before falling 66–58

in a competitive postseason matchup. While the playoff

run came to an end, the appearance itself marked a significant accomplishment for the program.

Beyond the statistics, the 2025–2026 Falcons represented Saddle Brook with pride, effort, and determination. With a strong group of returning players and younger athletes gaining valuable varsity experience, the team’s return to the state tournament signals an exciting step forward for the future of Saddle Brook boys basketball.
