📍SOHO

The SoHo neighborhood is so packed with stores it is easy to spend hours wandering around. My personal favorite block is Broadway from Broome St to Spring St. There you can find trendy stores catered to teens such as Edikted, Brandy Melville, Garage, Lululemon, Cotton On and more just on that one street. Throughout SoHo there are small boutiques, high-end luxury shops, and popular chain stores; they have everything. Plus, the ambiance of SoHo definitely adds to the experience. Cobblestone streets and elegant architecture make up most of the village; see the photo I took last time I went.

At the southernmost point of SoHo, is Canal Street. If you are unfamiliar with the reputation of Canal street, it is famous for the numerous street vendors who sell counterfeit designer goods that look practically identical to the real thing, all for a cheap price. Blankets line the streets and atop sit fake versions of just about any designer product you can think of…Gucci bags, Louis Vuitton wallets, Prada sunglasses, Apple headphones, they have it all. The legality of Canal Street is dicey, but nevertheless, hundreds of people buy products here every single day, and even if you do not want to purchase anything, anytime I visit SoHo I take a stroll through Canal Street just to see the notorious area for myself.
