A WRESTLING OVERVIEW

In the hallowed halls of Saddle Brook High School, the echoes of cheers and the clatter of mats marked the wrestling season of the Falcons, under the stalwart guidance of Head Coach Mike Getto. Though the road was arduous, with a record of 10-18 overall and 1-4 in the NJIC - Meadowlands division, the Falcons soared with unwavering determination and resolve.

Amidst the trials and tribulations, several standout wrestlers emerged, showcasing their skill and dedication on the mat. Leading the charge was Dylan Cerciello, a sophomore sensation whose prowess at 132 pounds earned him 1st team All-Division honors. Dylan's stellar 24-7 record was a testament to his relentless spirit and unwavering commitment to excellence.

Joining Dylan in the limelight was Jonathan Curry, a senior wrestler whose tenacity and skill at 150 pounds garnered him 2nd team All-Division honors. Jonathan, with an 11-10 record, exemplified the spirit of resilience and sportsmanship that defines the Falcons wrestling program.

Additionally, the Falcons celebrated the achievements of Ryan Kruse, a junior powerhouse at 285 pounds, who secured his own 2nd team All-Division honors with an impressive 19-9 record. Ryan's commanding presence on the mat and dedication to his craft inspired teammates and opponents alike.

Furthermore, the Falcons proudly recognized the talent of Jake Rigolosi, a sophomore wrestler whose promising performance at 113 pounds earned him an Honorable Mention. Jake's commendable 15-10 record spoke volumes about his potential and determination to succeed in the sport he loved.
