SEMESTER 1 SPOTLIGHT
Saddle Brook High School had an eventful and exciting first semester, filled with academic, athletic, and extracurricular accomplishments. From championship victories to outstanding academic achievements, our students have continued to shine and make us proud. In this article, we spotlight some of the highlights of the past semester and celebrate the achievements of our students and staff.

Melania Ruiz stole the show the first semester in Saddle Brook. She was voted Homecoming Queen, lead the Cheer Team and Melania was also inducted into the National Honor Society where she serves as Secratary. Here we speak to her about what she remembers most about Semester 1 and what she is looking forward to in Semester 2.
What are your highlights from Semester 1?
The pep rally and our cheerleading performances. I was also excited and surprised to win homecoming queen this year.
What are you looking forward to in Semester 2?
I’m looking forward to the Senior Banquet, Senior Breakfast, Prom and more importantly…GRADUATION!!!
What will you remember the most about SBHS?
I will remember my cheerleading team the most. They helped me find my love of cheerleading again. Cheer gave me the opportunity to make friends in all grade levels and many of them will be lifelong friends.
SBHS voted Malanie Ruiz and
Franklin Rodriguez as their homecoming king and queen this year. Who will be the
prom king a prom queen this spring?
