How Isolation Affects the Pyschologlical and Physical State of Humans
Being isolated for long periods of time can not only affect our mental state, but also our physical. When isolated, you are most likely to obtain mental health issues; depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, paranoia, and other issues. Isolation can even erase emotions. Although it may seem like our emotions are expressed naturally, they may not be. Our emotions are taught at young ages, which is why we laugh, cry, or showcase an angered expression. Someone who isn’t taught that, or even isolated from emotional references, will not have emotional knowledge. It won’t be natural to them.
