The 2024–2025 roster featured a talented group of athletes across all grade levels. Seniors included Stella Cahill-Slowik, Liliana Parisi, and Alyssa Balbuena. Representing the junior class was Marina Cahill-Slowik. Sophomores were Ava Haberman, Ava Montalbano, Cassandra Jacob, and Mackenzie Touhy. The freshman class included Cate Mouser, Ava Leto, Avery Brickley, and Gianna Cusinato. Together, these athletes formed a tight-knit, high-performing team that brought energy and excellence to every performance.
Their path to victory was not without adversity. The team faced multiple injuries and setbacks throughout the season. Alyssa, a senior, competed through a painful finger injury. Avery, a freshman, pushed past a persistent knee issue. Sophomore Mackenzie powered through an ankle sprain, and Stella, another senior, battled a stomach problem but refused to sit out, keeping her energy high throughout their final performance. These moments showcased the team’s resilience and commitment. They refused to let anything stand in their way.
In recognition of their incredible achievements and positive impact on the community, the team was honored by Saddle Brook Mayor White, who praised their excellence, sportsmanship, and inspiring representation of the town. From the first practice to their final moment on stage in Orlando, the Saddle Brook Competition Cheer Team defined what it means to lead with heart, discipline, and pride. The 2024–2025 season will be remembered not just for the trophies and titles, but for the legacy of determination, unity, and greatness left behind by this unforgettable team.
