helping the team average more than nine goals per game.
Among the season’s highlights were a commanding 15-4 rout of Paramus Catholic and a dominant 13-2 statement win over Passaic Valley, both of which underscored the Falcons’ balance on offense and defense. Saddle Brook closed out the regular season on a five-game winning streak, capped by an 11-6 victory over Lyndhurst that showcased their momentum heading into the postseason. The leadership of seniors Michael Mudzinski and Gavin Accomando played a crucial role in the team’s success, and their presence on and off the field will be deeply missed next year.
Their efforts didn’t go unnoticed.
North Jersey News named the Falcons
“Team of the Week” in May, recognizing not only
their winning record but also their historic playoff
qualification and standout individual performances.
With several underclassmen like Shnaper returning and
a growing culture of dedication, the Falcons are well-positioned to build on this historic season. For now, the 2024–25 squad will be remembered as trailblazers. They are the team that put Saddle Brook lacrosse on the map.
