Prom is so much more than just a dance. It was a dream come to life. Prom 2025 was absolutely stunning, a breathtaking vision brought together by the Class of 2025, Ms. Johnson, and Ms. Gradzki. With the iconic theme of The Great Gatsby, every detail sparkled with elegance and glamour. The decorations were incredible. No one could have imagined it better, and the theme was clear to everyone who walked in.
The evening began with a glamorous black and gold photo op at the entrance, where a professional photographer captured the magic of the night. From there, we moved into the cocktail hour, which offered a feast for the senses. From chips and guacamole to fish tacos and Shirley Temples, the food choices were endless. Dinner followed with a single, satisfying plate of steak, chicken, carrots, and mashed potatoes. Even though there was only one option, everyone left the table full and happy.
After cocktail hour, the true celebration began. The beautiful Rockleigh Country Club set the stage for an unforgettable night of dancing and fun. The dance floor was packed from start to finish, only clearing when people stepped away to grab food or take pictures at the photo booths. The DJ, with a playlist chosen by the Class of 2025, kept the energy high all night long. From The Cupid Shuffle to If I Die Young by Bruno Mars, the music was exactly what the crowd wanted. The DJ did an outstanding job.
Of course, one of the highlights of the night was the announcement of Prom royalty. Right after dinner, the honors were announced by none other than senior Athena Fairley, who brought incredible energy to the moment. Representing the Class of 2026, Prom Prince and Princess were Andrew Moya and Rachel Rosales. They both looked absolutely stunning. And finally, the Class of 2025 crowned their Prom King and Queen: Devin Thomas and Katilyn Mendez. This beautiful couple truly deserved the recognition, and the smiles on their faces were priceless. The crowd erupted in cheers for all four winners.
Prom 2025 was a tremendous success. Thank you to the 2025 Prom Committee, and of course, thank you to Ms. Johnson and Ms. Gradzki for making this magical night possible.
