The Saddle Brook Girls Tennis Team has made remarkable strides this year, with a series of winning streaks that propelled the team into States for the first time in years. Many of the players dedicated themselves to off-season training during the Winter and Spring, ensuring they stayed fully committed to their sport. Since late July, the team has endured numerous practices, often under the blazing summer sun, demonstrating their dedication and perseverance.
Under the guidance of head coach Valerie Militello, the team achieved an impressive 11-4 win-loss record. Some of the season’s most memorable victories came against Palisades Park, Weehawken, and Becton, while hard-fought matches against Ridgefield and New Milford tested the team’s resilience but ultimately ended in triumph.
