Saddle Brook High School is celebrating a major milestone this semester with the grand unveiling of its brand-new turf field and all-weather track, now fully equipped with stadium lights that will allow the Falcons to take their games and events into the evening for the first time in school history.
The excitement surrounding the new facility was impossible to miss. The modern turf field, crisp markings, and bright lighting system signal a new era for Saddle Brook athletics. Both the boys’ and girls’ soccer teams, lacrosse teams, the football program, track and field athletes, and the football cheer squad will now call the upgraded complex home. The improved space not only enhances performance and safety but also strengthens the school community, giving families and residents more opportunities to attend games and cheer on the Falcons.
The inaugural celebration of this new field was perfectly followed with the school’s Homecoming festivities, making this fall even more memorable. Under the glow of the new lights, the Saddle Brook Marching Band delivered spectacular performances that captivated the crowd. Their precision, energy, and musical talent set the tone for the evenings, while the color guard added vibrant visual flair with a show that drew loud applause from fans in the stands.
A highlight of the Homecoming event was, of course, the crowning of this year’s Homecoming Court. Juniors Noah Ampudia and Mikaela Orlando were honored as the prince and princess, representing their class with pride. The senior class celebrated as Michael Pallotta and Rachel Rosales were crowned the Homecoming King and Queen, earning cheers from classmates, families, and friends.
The combination of school spirit, athletic pride, and community support made the nights unforgettable. With the new multi-use turf field and track officially open, Saddle Brook High School is poised for an exciting future, one that shines brighter than ever under the lights.
