Similarly, the aesthetic pictures that are taken through the lens of an old digital camera are bringing back the rustic and grainy pictures of the beloved 2000s. It's now very common to see someone take a digital camera out of their bag and pose for a picture with their friends, however, when the popularity of phones arose, the digital camera was discarded because of the picture quality. It's pretty ironic: the patterns that were previously mentioned were phased out of pop culture because they became overused and cheezy, and the digital camera was replaced by one that had better quality.
In spite of all of this, our generation has brought these trends back, giving them a whole new meaning and style, and the reason that they were phased out in earlier years, is the exact same reason society loves them today.
