The strong offensive showing against the West Caldwell Tech Eagles was led by senior striker, Angelo D’Amore’s hat-trick and sophomore Jake DeJulia’s pair of goals.
The team had some success throughout the season and notched seven wins while dealing with the strange scheduling issues the pandemic brought this fall.
It was nice to see the Falcons get a shot in the playoffs once again and everyone is looking forward to seeing what this young team with lots of returning players can do in the next couple of years.
The Saddle Brook High School boys had a solid season this year and finished with a strong showing in the State Tournament. The boy’s soccer team ended the season with an overall record of 7-9.
The boys soccer team put up a strong battle in its final game of the season, the semi finals of the 2020 NJSIAA Boys Soccer Tournament, but fell to Technology of Newark 2-1.
The Falcons had just defeated West Caldwell Tech 7-0 in the quarterfinal round of the North East B, Group 1-B bracket to advance to the semis.
