The Falcons recorded another amazing season. The hard work put in during the offseason paid off for the girl’s soccer team once again. They had an excellent overall record of 10-3 and made the state playoffs for another year.
They were led by the dangerous senior scoring duo, Anna Memija and Mia Lopez. Anna notched 21 goals throughout the season while senior Mia Lopez scored 14 goals and led the team in assists.
Yanci Zea was a strong goalkeeper all season and had 88 total saves.
The combination of a solid defense paired with a lethal offense was a winning formula for team this past fall.
Despite the pandemic, the Falcons were able to keep their spirits up and persevere through any and all obstacles throughout the regular season.
The seniors will be sorely missed next season, however, the young talent is very promising and the team has a long tradition of winning ways that are sure to continue.
