BOOK REVIEW: SHADOWED SUMMER
By Maneet Sodhi
What would you do if you realized you were being haunted? “Shadowed
Summer” by Saundra Mitchell was a great mystery with a surprising ending. What started as a simple way to
drive away boredom soon turned into a frantic search to drive away the ghost that was
haunting Iris. The suspense was truly killing me. From the first page, I had realized that
it wouldn't have an obvious ending where the culprit was suspected from the beginning.
As the story progressed the clues all seemed to point in different directions. I just didn't
know who might have been the murderer until I finally reached the end. I never would
have guessed. Overall I would give it a 4 out of 5. I would recommend this to any
fantasy and mystery lover.
