I truly believe the natural realm is a reflection of what is going on spiritually. After my workout, I light candles as a symbol of the Holy Ghost’s fire that burns within me. I sometimes sit and listen to God in prayer and scripture. I often read several books and articles on what my spirit is leading me to. Prayer journaling is also my favorite thing to do. P. Sloan Joseph: How has God helped you in your relationship with your husband? Atiba Jackson: The fruit of the Spirit helps with my relationship with God. I "try" to see my husband more spiritually than fleshly. I pray for my husband daily even when I don't feel like it. The Power of a Praying Wife, by Stormie Omartian has been a blessing. P. Sloan Joseph: How has God helped you in your relationship with your children? Atiba Jackson: I constantly pray for my kids daily in regards to the choices they make, friendships, teachers, and all who are around them. I feel the enemy's ultimate plan is to destroy our children (the seeds). I pray for God's covering over them and that it will reach to others. P. Sloan Joseph: How has God helped you in your relationship with the staff, students, and parents on your job? Atiba Jackson: I am still learning to see people as spiritual beings. I pray before I get to work and when I leave. Every day I pray that I set up the atmosphere at work for God's will and work to be done. Ephesians 6:12 For the struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realm. P. Sloan Joseph: How would you explain God to an unbeliever? Atiba Jackson: Actions speak louder than words. Showing God's love, mercy and grace to unbelievers is showing who He is. Bio for P.
