it took prayer and support from family and church friends to get through some of the rough moments. There were times the fridge and pantry were close to empty (barely enough to prepare a healthy meal) but God provided and we were never without food, shelter and clothing. During most of these money challenges, I didn’t share my struggles with others openly but God used the kindness of others to help us. With a mortgage looming over us that was difficult to cover, we sold our house and moved to humbler dwellings. Through all this God came through. When the mortgage was due and there wasn’t enough in the bank account to cover the payment – I received unexpected gifts or funds from known sources sooner than expected.
