the New Testament. Jesus came to express God’s nature in human form. Therefore, we need to learn as much about Jesus as we can before we start to study the history leading up to Jesus. The books throughout the Old Testament are as equally important as the books in the New Testament. No book in the Bible is more important or more inspired by God than any other book. But if you are a new Christian, reading the gospels to meet Jesus should be your first priority. Following that pattern of John, Matthew, Mark, Luke, Acts, will give you a solid grasp of the person of Jesus, the God Man, who came to restore relationship between humankind and God. We always pray for you, and we give thanks to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. For we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and your love for all of God’s people, which come from your confident hope of what God has reserved for you in heaven. You have had this expectation ever since you first heard the truth of the Good News. This same Good News that came to you is going out all over the world. It is bearing fruit everywhere by changing lives, just as it changed your lives from the day you first heard and understood the truth about God’s wonderful grace.
